Gladys Freet-Bankowski

Gladys P. Freet Bankowski, age 78, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away on December 25, 2012 at Palos Community Hospital. Born July 2, 1934 in Concord, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mae Hockenberry Freet.
Gladys enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by six children, Carl Grasser, Jack Grasser (Betty) of Woodridge, IL, Tom Grasser of Lockport, IL, Joe Bankowski (Gail) of Oaklawn, IL Barbara Exline (Duane) of Oak Forest, IL, and Constance Palider (Roman) of Tinley Park, IL; twelve grandchildren, and four siblings, Louise Neil of Willow Hill, PA; Kate (Ronny) on New Franklin, PA, Denny Freet (Nellie) of Port Royal, PA, and Junior Freet (Reba) of Concord, PA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 2 PM Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, 21169 Cross Rd., Doylesburg, PA 17219. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 4-9 PM at the Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA. Interment will follow the service in Concord Union Cemetery.
