Glen Ordean Blubaugh, age 85, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehab. Born in Waynesboro, PA, on October 15, 1931, he was the son of the late Clarence D. and Ruth Creager Blubaugh.
Mr. Blubaugh served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He then went on to work at Chambersburg Ford and Letterkenny, before opening his own used car lot in 1958 and operating Glen Blubaugh Autorama until 1995, when he retired. He was an avid antique car enthusiast for over 60 years.
Surviving is his wife, Dolores Bottenfield Blubaugh, whom he married in 1956, three children, Glenda Y. Failla of Waynesboro, PA, Jodi L. Blubaugh (Trish A.) of Greencastle, PA, Kip L. Blubaugh (Laura) of Waynesboro, PA; five grandchildren, Parker, Collin, Shanell, Kip S., and Kodie L. Blubaugh; and two siblings, Clarence “Bill” Blubaugh (Pat) and Gloria Anne Daley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Sanders.
The family will receive friends at a graveside service, Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 3:30 PM at the Quincy Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Jerome R. King Playground Association, P.O.
