Glen Frey

Glen E. Frey, 86, passed away Wednesday morning, September 5, 2012 at Menno Haven. Born November 8, 1925 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Reuben and Beatrice Faust Frey. Glen was employed at T.B. Woods Sons, Inc. in Chambersburg for twenty five years, retiring in 1987. Earlier in his life he had worked for thirteen years for the Boro of Chambersburg. He was a member of Salem United Brethren Church.

Glen is survived by his loving wife, Betty “Joyce “ Boyer Frey, whom he married November 4, 1967; his step-son, Gary Grove and wife Mary Jo of Media, PA; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and his brother, Robert Frey of Chambersburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Art Page will officiate. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon-1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
