Glen McGee

Glen W. McGee, age 69, of Spring Run, PA, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Shippensburg Health Center. Born in Spring Run, PA on March 7, 1944, he was the son of the late Merle M. McGee and Gail Wilson Shoop.
A 1962 graduate of the Fannett – Metal High School, Glen had gone on to serve honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He went on the work for the federal government retiring as a payroll clerk in 2009 in Charleston, SC. An avid NASCAR fan, Glen enjoyed watching Jeff Gordon win; he also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and L.A. Dodgers. He was a life member of the James W. McCartney Post 232 American Legion.
Surviving are five siblings, Beverly E. Concini (husband Richard) of Enola, PA, Larry J. McGee (wife Lucille) of Shippensburg, PA, Ronald L. McGee (wife Patricia) of Concord, PA, Beatrice K. Bryan (husband Larry) of Spring Run, PA, and Barbara A. Baker (husband Bill) of Shippensburg, PA and 9 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Agett – Geisel Funeral Home, Dry Run, PA. Military honors will be provided by members of the James W. McCartney American Legion Post 232 Color Guard.
