Grace Oliver

Grace L. Oliver, 90, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services. Born December 31, 1924 in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin M. and Nellie Starkie DeCarteret. She was a member of the Chambersburg Gospel Chapel and volunteered with Bible Released Time. Her husband, John J. Oliver, preceded her in death in 1988.

Mrs. Oliver is survived by two sons, John H. Oliver of Cinnaminson, NJ and Glenn D. Oliver of Philadelphia, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara H. Goodwin.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, June 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Private interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Philadelphia, PA.
