Harold Lee Gelsinger

Harold Lee Gelsinger, 84, of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at his home. Born September 19, 1940, in Mercersburg, PA, he was a son of the late Paul B. and Nellie M. Wetzel Gelsinger.

Harold was employed in maintenance with Grove Manufacturing for 38 years until his retirement in 2002. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling. He also enjoyed hunting with his friends and family in Clearfield County, spending time with his family, hunting for mushrooms, cutting the grass and just being outside.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia A. Reasner Gelsinger, whom he married on September 15, 1962; his son, Harold Lee Gelsinger, Jr. and wife Tammy of Chambersburg; three grandchildren, Kyla Marie Bull and husband Brandon of Littlestown, Jessica Renee Hackenburg of Chambersburg, and Harold Lee Gelsinger III and wife Kacie of Chambersburg; four great grandchildren; Remy Jade, Rowen Chase, Mya Marie, and Parker Lee; and his sister, Betty Davis of Greencastle. Aside from his parents; Harold was preceded in death by three siblings, David and Paul Gelsinger, and an infant sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 14, 2024 in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Rev. Ron Parr will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
