He also was a Phillies baseball fan and traveled with his wife many times to Philadelphia for home games. Harold also enjoyed a lifelong avocation as an avid hunter. He and his wife, Thelma M. (Stewart), were looking forward to celebrating their thirty-ninth (39th) wedding anniversary this month. They were long time members of the Saint Thomas United Methodist Church and had recently also attended the Lemasters United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife Thelma, he is survived by four siblings: sisters Mabel Higgins (Karl) and Patricia Myers (Lauren); brothers Robert Johnson (Sue) and Gerald Johnson (Dorcas), sister-in-law Betty Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by a brother Carl Johnson and a sister Dorothy (Mellott) and brother-in-law Roy Mellott.
