Helen Brindle

Helen Rebok Brindle, 92, a resident of Menno Haven Nursing Center, passed away on July 16, 2015 at Menno Haven Nursing Center. Born on January 23, 1923 in Shippensburg, she was the daughter of the late Calvin E. and Amy J. Ocker Rebok. A graduate of Shippensburg High School, she also attended the former Carlisle Commercial College. During her working years, Helen worked as a secretary for the Office of Personnel Management at Letterkenny Army Depot. Her beloved husband Carl A. Brindle, preceded her in death on October 23, 2003.
She is survived by a son, William A. Brindle and wife Vicki of Chambersburg; a daughter, Janice “Jay” Rearick and husband Duff of Greencastle; 5 grandchildren, William “Bucky” Brindle, Warren “Chad” Brindle, Matthew Rearick, Erin Scalese, and Jessica Santora; and 10 great-grandchildren. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Rebok and a sister, Eleanor Fogelsanger.
Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
