Helen Starr

Helen L. Starr, 89, a former resident of Berks County, PA, passed away
at St. Joseph's hospital, Reading, PA. Born January 27, 1922, she was
the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Cain McCoy.

Mrs. Starr worked in women's retail for years at various department
stores, and in addition was employed as a metallurgical technician
during WWII. She was a former Commissioner for Clan Donald, USA, and
a Charter Member of the St. Andrew's Society of Central NY. She
enjoyed reading, playing cards, and dining out in her spare time.

She is survived by her son Brent E. Starr. In addition to her
parents, and sisters Ruth and Beatrice, she was preceded in passing by
her husband Claude E. Starr in 1995.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be
made in her name to Clan Donald USA, www.clan-donald-usa.org.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home,
Chambersburg, PA.
