Helen L. Williamson, 79, of St. Thomas, PA, died at 5:48AM Friday, February 25, 2011 at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Born January 30, 1932 in Dublin Township, Huntington County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy J. and Dessie N. Murphy Hampton. Helen retired from Sunnyway Foods in Chambersburg where she worked in the deli. Her beloved husband, Carl W. Williamson, preceded her in death on January 20, 1981.
She is survived by three children, Larry C. Williamson and wife Kathryn of Greencastle, Jerry L. Williamson of St. Thomas, and Linda D. Rebert and husband Raymond of Chambersburg; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clarence Hampton of Kistler, PA.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Shade Gap, PA. Rev. Tom Matthews will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 2325 Country Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
