Helen G. Zimmerman, age 74, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2017, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born in Newton Hamilton, PA, on June 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dora Witters Bair.
Helen held various positions during her career in the insurance industry and found her risk management work most satisfying. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Artistic in nature, friends would often comment on her décor and floral arrangements she made for her home, especially during the holidays.
Surviving is her husband, Edward C. Zimmerman; two children, Donald Miller (wife Rebecca) of Centreville, VA, and Katrina Best of Lakeridge, VA; four grandchildren, Zack and Jonathan Miller and Belen and Madie Best: and a sister, Mary Stahl of Deltona, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Services and interment will be private.
