Henry A. Flood, 90, of Chambersburg, PA died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at home. Born June 7, 1922 in Elizabethville, PA, he was the son of the late Loy G. and Alice Arment Flood. Henry served his country in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He retired from the U.S. Army Armament Research and Development Center in Dover, NJ. Henry was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, N.A.R.F.E., and Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion, all in Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Miller Flood and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother, and his step-mother.
At his request, services and interment will be private.
