Howard James “Bud” Cramer, 73, of Fayetteville, PA, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in the Chambersburg Hospital ER. Born on June 20, 1938 in Shippensburg, PA, he was a son of Virginia Shriner Cramer Reed of Shippensburg and the late Howard G. Cramer.
A 1956 graduate of Shippensburg High School, Bud honorably served his country with the U.S. Army. He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in 1993 with 37 years of service. He was a member of NARFE and loved to play golf.
Aside from his mother, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Lehman Cramer, whom he married July 16, 1966; step-daughter, Candis Newman and her husband, Barry, of Fayetteville; step granddaughter Stacy Newman and step great granddaughter, Trista Newman, both of Indiana, PA.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 16, 2012 in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg, with Pastor Jim Ragno officiating. Military honors will follow by members of the Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599 Honor Guard.
