Ida “June” Wagner, age 99, of Chambersburg, and formerly of Bridgeville and Upper St. Clair, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at her home. Born May 29, 1925, in Pittsburgh, PA she was the daughter of the late Edythe and William Klein. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Fred C. Wagner in 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Kirker (James); granddaughter, Jennifer Silva (Michael) and great grandchildren, Austin Silva and Madison Silva. In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by her infant sister, Betty Jane Klein.

June was a former member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church of Bridgeville, PA for 80 years and was currently a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church of Chambersburg, PA. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Funeral services will be private followed by private interment in Lincoln Cemetery where Pastor Bruce Levy will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 1140 Edgar Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
