Isabelle Zimmerman

Isabelle McNew Zimmerman, 101, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday morning, December 9, 2013 at ManorCare Health Services. Born August 16, 1912 in Waynesboro, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin S. and Verna B. Patterson McNew. She and her mother operated the former Jungle Park Restaurant and Gift Shop near Caledonia, retiring in 1965. Mrs. Zimmerman enjoyed flower gardening and reading. Her husband, Paul W. Zimmerman, preceded her in death on November 19, 1958.

She is survived by her son, Randall P. Zimmerman and wife Linda of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Dana Patterson and husband Eddie of Chambersburg and Steven Zimmerman and wife Kim of Front Royal, VA; twin great-grandchildren, Cory and Cody Zimmerman; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, December 13, 2013 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Martin Lorah officiating. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 AM Friday at the funeral home.
