Jackson E. “Jack” Faulkner, Jr., age 93, of Franklin, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2021, at Manor care Nursing Home. Born May 10, 1927, in Smyth County, VA, he was the son of the late Jackson E. Sr. and Lola Hall Faulkner.
Mr. Faulkner served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the VFW. He worked a 40+ year job at Bendix Radio as a Senior Electronic Technician. He was also into agriculture and real estate during his career and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Jaimie L. Pizza (Husband Dominic A.) of Lancaster, PA and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gisela “Linda” Faulkner and son, Ralph E. Faulkner in 2005, and daughter-in-law, Mary E. Faulkner.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 12 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Phil Foster will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to VFW, Processing Center, P.O. Box 8958, Topeka, KS 66608-8958.
