James L. “Jim” Killian, Jr., 61, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Shippensburg Healthcare Center surrounded by loving friends and staff. Born October 20, 1955 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late James L., Sr. and Bertha Gilbert Killian. Jim attended the Shippensburg Area Senior High School and was employed at the former Hoffman Mills.
He is survived by his brother, Rick Killian and wife Carla and his sister, Linda Hamilton and husband Jim. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion, Mona “Lisa” Bishop.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Dr. Francis Norton will officiate. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 10:30-11:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
