James Knox

James Enoch “Jim” Knox, Sr., age 76, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born January 16, 1948, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Enoch L. and Marian Hoffman Knox.
Jim was a 1970 graduate of the Shippensburg University. He was a self-employed accountant, operating Jim Knox Financial in Chambersburg, PA. Jim was a strong-willed individual who loved the Lord, he also loved to golf, bird watch, garden, and he cherished his cat, Kasey. He had a passion for helping others through Pregnancy Ministries and Tunnel to Towers.
Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Connie Schooley Knox, whom he married on October 4, 1996; a son, James E. Knox, Jr. of Halifax, PA; two stepsons, Shannon Kesselring (wife Kim) and Forrest Kesselring (wife Chrystal); two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and two sisters, Constance Waterman and Joan Pentz.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Pregnancy Ministries, 455 Phoenix Dr., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
