James L. “Buddy” Sampoli, Jr., age 63, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Born December 12, 1954, in Perth Amboy, NJ, he was the son of the late James L. Sampoli, Sr. and Josephine A. Calabro Sampoli.
Buddy worked for many years for Occupational Services, Inc. in Chambersburg. Full of life, Buddy enjoyed listening to music and meeting people.
The last of his immediate family, Buddy is survived by his family friends and caregivers, Allen and Linda Werke of Sartell, MN; Herb and Patty Eaton of Doylesburg, PA; Angie and Lynn Petersheim of Williamsport, MD; and Ashley Walker of Chambersburg, PA.
Friends will be received for viewing on Thursday, October 25, 2018, from 7 – 8 PM, where there will be a time of Remembrance at 7:30 PM in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc. 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17202. Entombment will follow the viewing at a later date in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Buddy’s name to C.R.O.S.S., 712 Pinola Rd., Shippensburg, PA 17257.
