James Schieber

James C. Schieber, 20, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018. Born October 2, 1997 in Alexandria, Virginia, he was the son of Jonathan E. and Michelle Osborne Hildebrand. James was currently employed at Benny’s Italian Restaurant in Chambersburg and had previously worked at Giacomo’s Italian Restaurant in Fayetteville. He was an avid gamer; a Star Wars fanatic; a history buff; and a fan of the Baltimore Orioles. He had a passion for dinosaurs and enjoyed visiting the Smithsonian Institute. James was baptized into the Episcopal church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by six siblings, Mikayla Thompson of Elizabeth City, NC, Amanda Bertuna of Fairfax, VA, Eileen Hildebrand, Sarah Hildebrand, Keelyn Hildebrand, and Devorah Hildebrand, all of Chambersburg. Also surviving are his maternal grandfather William Osborne of Canton, GA; paternal grandparents Bonnie and Roland Hildebrand of Galion, OH and Carol Folsom of Bonner Springs, KS; maternal great uncle Robert Osborne of Falls Church, VA; maternal great uncle Richard Osborne of Maryland; and his paternal aunt, Angelique Demarcus of Dearborn, MO. His maternal grandmothers, Susan Osborne and Elsa Osborne, preceded him in death.

A memorial service to celebrate James’ life was held in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.
