James Shearer

James Edward Shearer, 73, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at his home. Born May 5, 1947 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Andrew Daniel and Catherine Lou Ann Falkner Shearer.
A US Army veteran, Jim served honorably during the Vietnam War. He was the owner/operator of Shearer Automotive in Chambersburg. He also drove truck for Hoffman in Hagerstown. Jim enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his family and grandchildren and fishing.
He is survived by three children, Keith Rozell (Rhonda) of Mercersburg, Angela Coppola of Chambersburg, Corey Shearer (Emma) of Chambersburg; seven grandchildren; and his brother, George Shearer (Sherri) of Chambersburg. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by four siblings, Earl Shearer, Joann Shearer, Frances Highlands and Andy Shearer.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA.
