James R. Walterick, 75, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Friday afternoon, Sepember 3, 2021 at Hershey Medical Center. Born July 7, 1946 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Osro H. and Mary Baker Walterick. Jim was a 1964 graduate of the Chambersburg Area High School. Early in his life he had been employed at T.A. Zullinger in Chambersburg. He also worked at Wenger Feeds in Shippensburg. He was last employed, part-time, as a driver for Keystone Ford. He was a member of Orrstown Lodge # F&AM and years ago served as a volunteer with the Chambersburg Fire Department at the rank of Captain. He loved spending time at his mountain cabin.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Gable Walterick, whom he married August 4, 1984; his step-son, Troy Ardinger and wife Darlene of Chambersburg; two step-grandchildren, Hannah and Seth; and his sister, Nancy Hart and husband Mike of Chambersburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-granddaughter, Sydney Ardinger.
Services and interment will be private.
