Jane Crist

Jane Nozzi Crist, 81, of St. Thomas, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her home. Born March 6, 1937 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Ellen Small Nozzi. Jane was a 1954 graduate of CASHS. She was employed as an assembler with Corning Glass Works until her retirement. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald G. Crist, whom she married on July 8, 1955; three children, Jan Ellen Crist of Webster Springs, WV, Julee Erin DeMeter and husband Robert of Chambersburg, and Don Eric Crist and wife Stephanie of Chambersburg; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by three siblings, John James Nozzi, Paul Small Nozzi and Sarah Nozzi Davis.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Chaplain Adam Leeper will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1004 N. Juniata Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
