Mrs. Janet L. (Saville) Copeland, 71, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Laurel Lakes Nursing Home, Chambersburg, PA. Born May 18 1949 in Old Field, WV she was the daughter of the late Opal (Whittington) Jones and Clyde Jones.
She was a graduate of the Buckhannon High School, Buckhannon, WV with the Class of 1967. Janet later went on to graduate from beauty school. She was a “jack of all trade”. Over the years Janet was employed by, Mack Truck, Landis Machine, Stanley Company, and Menno Haven Nursing Home. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and working crossword puzzles.
Janet is survived by two children, Misti Nicarry and her boyfriend Troy Hoover of Fort Loudon, PA and Shawn Talhelm of Greencastle, PA; four grandchildren, Taylor Wood, Tre Wood, Colby Talhelm and Britton Talhelm; four great-grandchildren, Kyden Burt, Chase Talhelm, Haven Talhelm and Arianna Bauerline; a brother, Wayne Saville of Bridge Port, WV; an aunt, Velma “Tiny” Heavner of Moorefield, WV and a nephew Wayne Saville, Jr.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her step-father, Clyde Jones and her husband, Dale Copeland.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg. PA.
