Janet Louise (Kyle) Keyser, age 87, formerly of Fayetteville, PA, died Wednesday morning, March 5, 2014 at Providence Place Retirement Community in Chambersburg. Born February 26, 1927 in Chambersburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Russel B. and Claudia Trace Kyle. A graduate of the former Chambersburg High School she spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a member of Chambersburg 1st Church of God, enjoyed flowers, watching birds, and spending time with her family. Her beloved husband, Robert W. Keyser, preceded her in death on October 4, 1982.
She is survived by three children, Jeanne M. Davis and husband Tim of Williamsport, MD, Bonita L. Krueger and husband Mark of Plainfield IL, and Robert D. Keyser of Fayetteville, PA; six grandchildren, Timothy G. Davis and special friend Crissy Griffith of Warfordsburg, PA, Richard A. Davis and wife Kristina of Hagerstown, MD, Tina M. Fleetwood and husband Michael of Hagerstown, MD, Brian Krueger and wife Claireese of Naperville, IL, Brett Krueger and fiancé Kori Stefann of North Aurora, IL, and David Keyser and special friend Jenn Mellma of Fayetteville, PA; six great-greandchildren, Megan Davis, Caroline Fleetwood, Ryan Fleetwood, Rachel Davis, Amanda Davis, and Kristina Krueger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Isabelle Schuchman, Verne Kennedy, and Dorothy Foreman.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Lutheran Homecare and Hospice, Inc. 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
