Janet C. Patterson, 81, of Chambersburg, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born on June 10, 1933, she was a daughter of the late J. Garnet Patterson and Ruth E. Dice Patterson.
A longtime and faithful member of the Chambersburg Bible Church, she was also a member of the Berean Sunday School Class. Over the years she had been employed with the former Stanley Clothing Company, and the dietary departments at both the Shook Home and Menno Haven. She had also done other volunteer work at Menno Haven.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 28, in the Chambersburg Mennonite Church Cemetery, with Pastor Gary Yoder officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chambersburg Bible Church, 810 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
