Jean L. (Diehl) Cramer, 88, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Menno Haven. Born February 12, 1933 in Chambersburg she was the daughter of the late Clark E. and Elsie (Helmuth) Diehl.
She attended Chambersburg Area Schools. Jean was a homemaker but also worked alongside her husband at Cramer Sheet Metal in the office. She worked as a gift-wrapper at Fashion Lane as well as a nail technician. Jean was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Chambersburg. She enjoyed playing tennis with her husband and going to Myrtle Beach, SC.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Goode of Columbus, OH; one granddaughter, Ashley Meredith (husband Steve); two great grandchildren, Connor and Ethan Meredith, all of Columbus; three siblings, Linda Smith of Chambersburg, Deborah Ritchey of Huntingdon, PA and Rick Brearton of Colorado; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, W. Frank Cramer who passed away September 29, 2018; and her siblings, Doris Scalia, Larry Diehl, and Sharon Hoffman.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 3, 2021 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Dr. Robert Cook officiating. Mausoleum entombment will follow in Norland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home.
