Jeanne (Jean) Cullinane

Jeanne (Jean) Marie (Tilden) Cullinane, age 92, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, July 17, 2016. She was born April 6, 1924 in Roslindale, MA. She was the daughter of Henry and Grace (Smallman) Tilden. Jeanne was formerly from Humarock, MA, Melbourne and Vero Beach, FL before settling in Chambersburg in 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Paul E. Cullinane, Sr. (of Roxbury and Humarock, MA); also, by her siblings, Frank Tilden, Bill Tilden and Gertrude (Tilden) Halligan.
Surviving are three children: Paul E. Cullinane, Jr. (wife Priscilla) of Chambersburg, Mary C. Phalan (husband Kenneth) of West Roxbury, MA, and John J. Cullinane (wife Karen Shryock) of Doswell, VA; seven grandchildren: Paul E. Cullinane, III of Fayetteville, NC, Cynthia Newman (husband Andrew) of Chambersburg, PA, Joseph Cullinane of Chambersburg, PA, Brendan Phalan of Astoria, NY, Katie O’Hare (husband Ryan) of Canton, MA, Heather Phalan of Orleans, MA, and Michael Phalan of West Roxbury, MA; and five Great Grandchildren: Emma and Anna O’Hare, Canton, MA, Charlotte Williams Orleans, MA; Agatha and Elsie Newman, Chambersburg, PA; niece Eileen Fearing (Bill Bordeaux) of North Port, Florida and her family and nephew Russell Halligan of El Segundo, California and his family.
Jeanne retired from more than 20 years of employment with Massachusetts Indemnity and Life Insurance Company in Wellesley, MA. She was dedicated to her family and friends.
Memorial service and interment will be at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
