Jeffrey Beltz

Jeffrey L. Beltz, 55, of 1937 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA 17202, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 after his three year battle with cancer, which eventually took his life. Born August 22, 1956 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Raymond C. Beltz Sr. and Dessie J. Nunemaker Beltz. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Jeffrey was a member of God’s Missionary Church and the Friendship Fire Company. He was a truck driver for D. L. Martin in Shippensburg and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Delores Bricker Beltz whom he married on August 28, 1981; three children, Ginger R. Cooley of Greencastle, PA, Jeremy L. Beltz and wife, Christina, of Spiceland, IN, and Amanda E. Dwight and husband, Patrick, of Dover, DE; seven grandchildren, Noah, Felicity, and Gracelyn Beltz, Natalie Dwight, and Hailey, Karley and Alley Martin; and seven siblings, Raymond C. Beltz Jr. of Fayetteville, PA, Jay S. Beltz of Philadelphia, PA, Patricia Kershner of St. Thomas, PA, Catherine Kauffman of Shippensburg, PA, Tina Wagner of Tennessee, Tammy S. Beltz of Harrisburg, PA, and Rebecca J. Harbaugh of Williamson, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, February 27, 2012 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor Steve Cassidy will officiate. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 -7 PM Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family at the home address.
