The Cutchall Family Respectfully Announces Jeffrey D. Cutchall of Hafer Road, Fayetteville is now forever with his Father, Chalmer Cutchall; Mother, Frances (Fran); and Brother (James W. Cutchall). Jeff, or JD as most knew him, was welcomed into heaven at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10th after sharing his life with us for 65 years.
Jeff was a lifelong Fayetteville resident but traveled with both the Federal Government and with his wife, Angie as well as with friends, including yearly trips to Sturgis, SD and South Carolina.
Jeff has a son, Jim Cutchall and two step children, Tai Barrett and Keila Barrett. He is also survived by his sister, Caryoln (Dodie) and her husband Denny Tash; a brother Tom and his wife Maggie (DenHartog) and their son Jake. Jeff’s wife Angie will forever miss him.
Jeff worked for the Chambersburg Borough through his high school and college years and then at T.B. Woods. He worked at Letterkenny Army Depot until his retirement in 2004. Jeff dearly loved his family, friends and the fire service to which many of his family dedicated years of their time and devotion.
He was a Life Member of the FAYETTEVILLE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT having served as Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief and Chief. He was also a Life Member of VFW Post 1599 in Chambersburg and a member of ABATE, HOG, NRA, NARFE and the Shippensburg Fish & Game Association. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran serving both active duty and reserve.
At Jeff’s request there will be a Celebration of his Life to be held at the Franklin Fire Department Social Hall on the corner of King and Franklin Streets in Chambersburg, on November 22nd starting at 2 p.m.. Casual dress is appropriate. Bring pictures and stories of which there are many.
