Jeffrey Helman

Jeffrey T. Helman, 48, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at his home. Born August 31, 1965 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Bonita Strock Plasterer and the late Lester I. Helman. Following graduate from high school, Jeff was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot. He enjoyed growing flowers, carpentry work, music, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Scott Plasterer of Chambersburg; his brother, Michael Helman and wife Sandra of Shippensburg; and his half-brother, Brian Helman of Chambersburg, PA.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 18, 2013 at The Open Door Church, 600 Miller Street, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Mike Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
