Jennie Katusin

November 25, 1912 — March 3, 2016

Jennie Louise Katusin, 103, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, at the Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville, PA. Born November 25, 1912, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Robins, Sr. and Georgina Galbreath Robins of Seattle, WA.

Jennie was a homemaker most of her life, but she did work for many years for Fannie Farmer Candy outlet in Pittsburgh, PA. Surviving are three children, Clare Weston of Ann Arbor, MI; Kenneth Katusin (wife Shirley) of Chambersburg, PA; and Sandra Brone of Greenville, NC, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Katusin in 1992, two siblings, Alexander Robins, Jr. and Esther Robins Meager; and a grandson, Douglas Brone.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016, at 10 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Marlin Fleck will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Norland Cemetery. The family requests the omission of flowers. If desired memorial contributions may be made to New Testament Baptist Church, 5444 Cumberland Highway, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
