Jenny Jo Frock Ward, Mom, Nanny, 66 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021. Born November 17, 1954, she was the beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Jean Frock.
Jenny was a graduate of Littlestown High School 1972, and Allentown Hospital School of Nursing 1975. At work, she was a diligent nurse of integrity for the elderly, underserved, and many other patients of all ages and conditions at multiple institutions over her forty-year registered nursing career. Jenny also taught nursing at HACC, which she absolutely loved.
Jenny was not just a nurse at work, she took care of everyone. She always brought more than she took and made sure that things were better than she found them upon leaving. She taught her family to lead by example not words, and she taught us all to love. Jenny was an example of her faith and a messenger of that good news to all.
Jenny was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Brethren Chambersburg and Burnt Savannah United Brethren, Jamaica. She was also a member of the Ruritans, Girls Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Stephen Ministry. She loved nature, reading, singing, as well as games, puzzles, and country food with her family and friends.
Jenny is survived by her husband, Tom and children, Tim, April (Randy), Mark (Jennifer), Carrie (Travis), Mandi (Eric), Cherrie (Brandon), David, Lucretia, seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, siblings Rich (Dottie), Julie and Bob. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Sandra and Saundra.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Caledonia State Park, Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 1pm with words by Mike Rockwell at 3pm. Please bring a dish for the pot-luck style meal by the creek near the pool and wear bright colors. No black please.
“Have a great day. God bless. Bye bye.” -Jenny
