Jerry Small

Jerry Lee Small, 77, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014. He was born January 5, 1937 in Chambersburg and moved to Brevard County, Florida in 2010.
Jerry was a Technical Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring, he worked as a rural letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service. He was also an Assistant Chief for the West Melbourne Volunteer Fire Department. He was a life member of Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW and Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion, both in Chambersburg.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Kay Small; two daughters, Lori Clouse and Sheri Small; granddaughter, Jordan Pic; grandson, Jared Pic; and granddaughter Brianna Small. He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Justice Whittemore; and his brother, Donald Small.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 7061 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas, Pennsylvania with Rev. Warren Heintzelman officiating.
Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be at a later date.
