Jerry A. Wills, Sr., 86, of Chambersburg, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at his home. Born June 3, 1937 in Kansas City, MO, he was a son of the late Benjamin Duncan Wills and Vernita S. Stuart Wills. His beloved wife, Patricia A. Besecker Wills, preceded him in death on November 26, 2015.
A US Army veteran, Jerry served honorably during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a computer programmer at Letterkenny Army Depot until his retirement. He was later employed for several years with Citi Bank. Jerry had attended King Street United Brethren Church with his wife. He enjoyed reading, writing, listening to classical music and keeping up with new technology.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry A. Wills II of Chambersburg, and Scott P. Wills of Fayetteville; and one granddaughter, Janita K. Wills of Kaneohe, HI. Aside from his wife and parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his grandson, Jerry A. Wills III, and two siblings, Benny Wills, and Jane Klein.
