Jesse Naugle

Jesse T. Naugle, 75, of Mont Alto, PA, passed away Monday evening, November 29, 2021 at his home. Born January 18, 1946 in South Mountain, PA, he was a son of the late Jesse J. and Leona Kauffman Naugle. Early in his life he worked at several area orchards prior to going to work for his father-in-law, Robert Hess, at his Shell station in South Mountain. Jesse then went on to work as a label machine operator at Knouse Foods, retiring in 2006 after 45 years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and also liked to spend time watching the birds and squirrels.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hess Naugle, whom he married May 6, 1967; two sons, Tony A. Naugle (fiancé Robin) and Troy L. Naugle; his daughter, Tina M. Lynn (Thomas), all of Mont Alto; his grandson, Logan Lynn; five step-grandsons; two step-great-granddaughters; his brother, Charles Naugle of Waynesboro; and his sister, Vonny Kauffman of Waynesboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louella Daywalt; two brothers, James and Dennis Baker; and his daughter-in-law, Jane Beeler Naugle.

Services and interment will be private.
