JoAnna E. “Kerry” Wolfe, 73, of Mercersburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Fulton County Medical Center. Born April 16, 1944 in Frederick, MD, she was a daughter of the late Matthew Robert and Edythe Geraldine Simmons Kerrigan.
Kerry was a 1962 graduate of Frederick High School. She was the owner of Wolfe’s Crafts, a ceramics and crafts business she started in 1988 and operated until 2002. She enjoyed making ceramics and spending time with her family.
She and her surviving husband, Ronald A. Wolfe, had been together for 48 years. Also surviving are two children, Kregg Reynolds and fiancé, AngeLia Stokes of Brunswick, MD, and Geri Lee Reynolds Brown and husband Michael of Hedgesville, WV; granddaughter, DiAnna Reynolds; a great-grandson, Aydin Reynolds Smothers; her sister, Catherine “Skeeter” Kerrigan Lambert and husband J. Lambert of Great Falls, VA; and numerous brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Roberta “Robbi” Reynolds in 2002.
Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
