Jodi Baer

Jodi A. Baer, age 47, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at her home. Born March 9, 1968, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Galen Yohe and the late Lois Shaffer Yohe.
A 1986 graduate of James Buchanan High School, Jodi went on to work at Manor Care in Chambersburg, for the last 25 years, as an activities associate. She enjoyed spending time with her children and scrapbooking.
Surviving is her husband of 18 years, David Baer; two children, Danielle and Joshua Baer; a sister, Janice Bell (husband John) all of Chambersburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Galen “Pedro” Yohe.
Funeral services will be held to honor Jodi’s life on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10 AM at Bethel Assembly of God Church, 400 Miller St., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor Garry Kipe will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 7 – 9 PM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA and on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
