John Etter

John Henry Etter, Jr., age 60, of Chambersburg, PA passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at his home in Chambersburg, PA. Born July 31, 1952 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late John H. Etter, Sr. and Madalyn I. Davis Etter. He was also preceded in death by his beloved sister, Phyllis Jean Etter.
A 1973 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, John went on to work at Letterkenny Army Depot for 15 years as a Microfilm Equipment Operator. John had a passion for history and enjoyed politics and being around people.
Surviving numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several Aunts and Uncles.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 10 AM in Salem Cemetery, Letterkenny Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the United Cerebral Palsy, 550 Cleveland Ave., suite 209, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
