John S. Patten, Jr., 86, of Fayetteville, PA passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the Chambersburg Hosptial. Born February 4, 1935 in Superior, WI he was the son of the late John S. Patten, Sr. and Germaine (Shears) Patten.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy L. (Jedlika) Patten who he married, April 8, 1961; four children, Michael Patten and his wife Jeanne of Hillsborough, NJ, Gregory Patten and his wife Roberta L. Wilson Patten of Golden Valley, MN, Catherine Ditzler and her husband Kenneth of Chambersburg, PA and Timothy Patten of Washington, D.C.; and five grandchildren, Rachael Ditzler, Jennifer Patten, Ian Patten, Brent Ditzler and Brianne Patten.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi School, 305 N. Second Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
