John Peak

John B. Peak, 82, of Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Portland, OR, passed away Tuesday evening, May 17, 2016 at Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 27, 1933 in Louisville, KY, he was a son of the late Marcus and Velma Peak. John served in the US Army and was later retired from Owens Illinois Glass in Portland. He also owned and managed several rental properties in the Portland area. He was a member of Destiny Church in Chambersburg.

He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Brenda Shore Peak; his son, John; two daughters, Connie and Karen; his step-son, Troy Stranlund; two step-daughters, Sarina Tebeck and husband Aaron and Heather Boss and husband Carl; eight grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister.

Services and interment will be private.
