John Voiland

John Michael Voiland, also known by many friends as Peter Eichman, of Lorton, VA, formerly of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. Born December 22, 1938 in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Arthur L. and Marion Cleary Voiland. John had an early career in the entertainment industry. Later in life and for many years he was an antique dealer.

John leaves behind nephews, Tony, Brian and Patrick Wright of Chambersburg, PA, Nathan Bell of Connecticut, and Mark Wabalas of NC; cousins, Sarah Minor, Patricia Hefflin and Lenny Lucey. Additionally, he leaves behind a long list of cousins and special friends that meant the world to him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Sarah, Lillian and Tony; and cousins Anne Marie Razzano and Linda Gemondo. 

A special thank you to Remme Dickerson for his lifelong friendship and to Joey Youseff for being so kind and taking care of John. 

A funeral mass for John will be held on Monday, December 9th, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA, where Deacon Rick Ramsey will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg will follow the service.
