Joseph Wolf

Joseph Douglas Wolf, age 50, of Brockway, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born January 30, 1966, in Huntsville, AL, he was the son of Brenda Edwards Wolf and the late Thomas E. Wolf.
A 1984 graduate of James Buchanan High School, where he was a member of the band, chorus, and show choir, Joe went on to graduate from the James Rumsey Culinary Institute. He worked in the food service industry for a number of years. Joe had obtained the honor of being an Eagle Scout in his youth.
In addition to his mother, Joe is survived by his son, Douglas D. Wolf of Mercersburg, PA, and his sister, Jennifer L. Monn (husband Rodney E.) of Shippensburg, PA.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 11 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic church, 320, Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201; where Rev. Fr. Dominic DiBiccaro will celebrate. Interment will follow the Mass in Corpus Christi Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to Just for Jesus Ministries, 14530 Rt. 28, Brockway, PA 15824. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
