Judith Hollinshead

Judith A. Hollinshead, age 72 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away at ManorCare Health Services on Saturday, September 3, 2016. Born June 19, 1944, in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late J. Norman and Mildred Roof Moats.
Judy was a 1962 graduate of the Greencastle Antrim High School. She worked in retail most of her adult life. She enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family.
Surviving is her husband, Gary E. Hollinshead, whom she married on March 15, 1964; her daughter, Pamela S. Smith of Chambersburg; and two siblings, Saundra Mentzer (husband Robert) of Chambersburg and Norman Eugene Moats of Goldsboro, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley R. Moats.
A private graveside service will be held in Norland Cemetery, with Rev. Jeff McCracken and Rev. Dennis D. Chisholm officiating. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 4 PM at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 230 Siloam Rd; Chambersburg, Pennsylvania 17201. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the above church and address or to Heartland Hospice, 1200 Walnut Bottom Rd, Suite 302, Carlisle, PA 17015-7767.
