Judy Rotz

Judy A. Rotz, 72, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday evening, April 18, 2016 at her home following a brief illness. Born September 5, 1943 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Louise Ferry Mowery. Judy was a 1961 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and was a self-employed beautician for thirty years. She was a member of St. Thomas United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included fishing at the shore, spending time on the beach and at the cabin, and enjoying time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Randy R. Rotz, whom she married August 16, 1964; two daughters, Lori A. Edmondson and husband John and Suzanne R. Poe and husband Bill; three grandsons, Hunter, Carter, and Ryan; and her sister, Shirley Ward, all of Chambersburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 22, 2016 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor Randy Zeiler and Pastor Charles Fitzgerald will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday and from 10:00-11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
