June L. O’Donnell, age 67, of Willow Hill, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born in Burnt Cabins, PA on February 27, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Ida Belle Kearns Boggs.
June dedicated 40 years as a school bus driver, safely transporting the children of the Fannett-Metal School District. She enjoyed spending Friday and Saturday nights at the Path Valley Speedway, being outdoors, baking and watching the Young and the Restless, which she jokingly referred to as her “Union Break”.
Surviving is her husband of 51 years, Ronald R. “Ace” O’Donnell, Sr. whom she married on March 7, 1964; two children, Nancy L. Ridenour of Hagerstown, MD and Ronald R. O’Donnell, Jr. (wife Kimberly) of Willow Hill, PA; three grandchildren, Heather L. Ridenour of Hagerstown, MD, Caitlyn R. O’Donnell of Shippensburg, PA, and Tyler E. O’Donnell, serving in the U.S. Navy; two siblings, Russell Boggs (wife Blanche) of Jacksonville, FL and Marlene Stockslager (husband Robert) of Greencastle, PA; and her beloved companion, Trouble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son in law, Franklin W. Ridenour.
Graveside services will be held in her honor on Friday, December 4, 2015, at 11 AM at the Upper Path Valley Cemetery, Spring Run, PA; where Pastor Phil Foster will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, Dry Run, PA.
