Karen Sue Breon, 63, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at her home. Born March 12, 1956 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Donna Fahnestock Cooper. Karen was a graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and Penn State University. She had worked as a Paralegal most of her life, most recently with the law office of Welton Fisher.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Breon, Jr., whom she married February 7, 1977; three children, Jennifer Propst (Keith) of Chambersburg, Angela Breon of Chambersburg, and Steven Breon of Carlisle; five grandchildren, Tanner, Spencer, and Bridget Propst, Riley Henry (Shayna Rhone), and Amber Baum; and two great-grandchildren, Leo and Lydia Henry. Also surviving are four brothers, Rick, Brad, Mark, and Matt Cooper. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashlyn Propst; and a sister, Loretta Juray.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Carl McKee will officiate.
