Karen Hardsock

Karen Hardsock, 50, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012 at her home. Born October 21, 1961 in Van Wert, OH, she was a daughter of Marie Sites Hawk of Chambersburg and the late Rev. Robert E. Hawk. Karen was a graduate of the Shippensburg High School. She retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot in August of 2012. She was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg from 1978-1998.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Manny Hardsock, whom she married September 12, 1981; two sons, Matthew Hardsock and Shane Hardsock and wife Lindsey; and her grandson, Blake Hardsock, all of Chambersburg. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews, and her great-niece, Brooklynn Hardsock of Chambersburg. Aside from her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Renee Stone, in February of 2002.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
