Kathleen Cooper

Kathleen E. Cooper, 93, of Chambersburg, PA died on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her residence. Born on March 18, 1920 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Beulah Jones Snively. Her beloved husband, whom she married in May 1932, Orville G. Cooper, Sr. preceded her in death.
Kathleen is survived by three sons; Orville G. Cooper, Jr. and wife Marie, Gary J. and wife Joyce and Robert E. Cooper, all of Chambersburg; 5 grandchildren, Michael W. Cooper, Sherry L. Bowers, Kim A. Stouffer, Tawnya L. Schreiber, and Tammie L. Cooper; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson; 3 sisters Peggy Spidel, Shirley Montgomery and husband Jerry, and Nancy Mouse; and a brother, Theodore Snively. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Paul and Lincoln Snively; and 3 sisters, Virginia Thompson, Pearl Fraker, and Betty Farner.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00PM, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Fellowship Hall of Scotland United Methodist Church, 4040 Main St., Scotland, PA on what would have been Kathleen’s 94th birthday. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg.
