Kay Fitzgerald

Kay A. Fitzgerald, 73, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born November 19, 1943 in Bedford, PA, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Arvada Crawford Veach. Her beloved husband, Wayne Fitzgerald, preceded her in death in 2007.

Kay was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot as an upholstress until her retirement after 20 years of service. She attended of Christian Life Assembly and loved spending time with her family, crocheting and her dog Soxs.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Shearer of Chambersburg, five grandchildren, Katelynn King, Jasmine Keown and husband Blaine, and Destiny, Jaden and Tyler Shearer; four great grandchildren, Blake King, Oakley Keown, Roen Keawn, and Ryker Strickland; and three siblings, Keith Veach and wife Mary of Bedford, Arley Veach and wife Louise of East Berlin, and Audrey Stull and husband David of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry and Loren Veach.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Christian Life Church, 1400 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
